FAQs
Meeting Access & Coverage
Every pharmacy board meeting is not online. How do you account for in-person meetings that do not offer a streaming option?
Over 80% of board meetings are available to access virtually. For the remaining 20%, we capture agendas and minutes, while offering in-person support for meetings of interest to your client or company. Note that in-person support is offered at an hourly rate outside of the subscription service.
Boards have all types of meetings, including committees and subcommittees. Do you capture those too?
Yes. If a pharmacy board in the United States is holding a meeting, RxIntel is capturing agendas, minutes, and in the vast majority of cases, meeting transcripts and audio.
Okay, hotshot, what about rule promulgation meetings?
For sure! If a board is meeting publicly as a part of the administrative rulemaking process, RxIntel captures it; however, if the administrative process extends to another governmental body, e.g., a legislative committee, RxIntel does not record those events just yet.
Updates & Accuracy
Agendas can be updated by a pharmacy board. How do I know you have the most up-to-date information?
Through proprietary tools, RxIntel maintains real-time information published by boards of pharmacy. Updated agendas are noted within the system to ensure the end user knows when an agenda has been supplemented with new information.
What if a meeting is cancelled?
We’ll update the meeting information and note its cancellation on the platform.
Historical & Custom Data
I need to know what happened in March 2022 during a California Board of Pharmacy meeting. Can you help with this?
Currently, RxIntel houses all meetings from 2025 and some 2024 board meetings. RxIntel is currently populating meeting information that occurred prior to 2025. These updates will be limited to agendas and minutes. Client updates on this build-out will occur at various project milestones.
If I wanted to know all of the states that discussed a particular topic in, for example, the last 6 months, can RxIntel summarize these discussions?
Yes. RxIntel will review all agendas, minutes, and transcripts over your selected time period and provide board intelligence on the topic of interest. The chat result will include links to the source documentation within the platform.
Summaries & Analysis
Are you telling me I can ask RxIntel to provide summary information about every time a board anywhere in the country addressed central fill pharmacy licensure or USP 797 or cold-chain storage or…. ? You get the idea.
You bet. If you’re familiar with ChatGPT, Gemini, or other common large language models (LLM), you can expect similar output from RxIntel. We train the model to identify pharmacy-specific topics and produce accurate analyses of captured board meeting information.
Time-Saving & Alerts
I spend half my time going to state websites to find updates on agendas or published minutes. Are you suggesting I don’t have to do this ever again?
Pretty much. Here’s the deal: Pharmacy boards update agendas up to the last minute and have varying degrees of timeliness around when updated agendas are posted (and who knows when minutes will find their way up on a site), but we know how boards operate and we have introduced technical surveillance and human QA to ensure that we are checking for these updates in as close to real-time as possible.
What if I need a transcript sooner than 48 hours following the meeting?
Just let us know, and we will email you a copy same day.
